Legal, data, and site terms
The legal ground rules live here in one place: privacy, terms, data rights, copyright handling, and community policy.
Privacy
BoomerChow may collect information you provide directly, including account details, newsletter preferences, messages, and anything submitted through reader-service forms. The site may also collect ordinary technical and usage data needed for publishing, analytics, security, and account reliability.
That information may be used to operate the site, answer reader messages, review correction and rights requests, deliver subscriptions you ask for, and understand whether the publication is working as intended. Requests about privacy or personal data should use the contact page so they enter the same review flow as other legal matters.
Terms
Using BoomerChow means using the site lawfully, respecting access controls, and avoiding fraudulent, abusive, or infringing submissions. Published work, branding, layout, and other site materials remain protected by copyright, trademark, and related law unless a page states otherwise.
You may link to public pages and make ordinary personal use of the site, but you may not republish, scrape, frame, or commercially reuse material without permission. The site may revise, remove, or update content and services as needed.
GDPR / Data
Readers who need access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, or portability review for personal data should use the contact page and identify the account, submission, or correspondence involved. We may ask for enough information to verify identity before acting on a request.
Operational, fraud-prevention, and legal-retention needs may require some records to be kept longer when reasonably necessary. International transfers and region-specific rights are handled in line with applicable law.
Content / Copyright
BoomerChow publishes original editorial work, transformed source-informed material, summaries, commentary, and AI-assisted output. The goal is added value through framing, synthesis, and reporting rather than simple copying.
If you believe material on the site infringes your rights or needs a permissions review, use the contact page and include the page address, the material at issue, the basis for the claim, and any supporting documentation. Material may be limited, revised, or removed while that review is underway.
Community Policy
BoomerChow may limit or remove submissions, account activity, or reader-service use that is abusive, unlawful, deceptive, spammy, or designed to interfere with the site. Harassment, impersonation, threats, unauthorized access attempts, and repeated bad-faith submissions are not allowed.
The standard is basic publication hygiene: readers should be able to use the site for legitimate reasons without stepping into a circus.
